Paul grew up in Southern California, Ventura , Moorpark. At age 16 Paul moved to Minnesota. Upon finishing High school, Paul moved to Paso Robles and started his career in the wine business.

1984:
Paul was involved in one of the first pioneer wineries known as Estrella river winery, located in Paso Robles area. .He was involved in all aspects of handling wine.

1989-1992:
worked with numerous boutique wineries in Paso Robles

1993-1997:
Helped establish new winery mission view in San Miguel , Ca where he became the winemaker.

1998-2001:
Paul moved to Castoro Cellars where he worked in the lab doing analysis for a large expanding custom crush facility. His duties included cellar management and organizing, managing crush and press crews at harvest and ensuring wines were ready for bottling.

2001-2003:
Paul was hired as Assistant Winemaker for ROBERT HALL a newly established medium size winery where he handled day to day operations and helped bring organization to a new winery.

2004-present:
Hired as Assistant Winemaker at Paso Robles Wine services.

Paul has continued his education in winemaking by taking short courses and attending seminars. He has consulted in the past for new wineries and has won numerous accolades in the Paso Robles A.V.A. Paul brings to Paso Robles Wine Services 14 years of experience.
