ROBERT MILLER

Bob Miller is currently sharing management responsibilities for Thornhill Ranches with his brother, Stephen.  Thornhill Ranches is the parent company which owns and operates Bien Nacido Vineyard, French Camp Vineyard, Rancho Sierra Vista and other properties back east. 

Bob's principle focus is on the farming operation, new approaches to product sales and the non-agricultural operation in Atlanta, Georgia.

Bob Miller is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University.  He began farming in the family business in California in 1968.  He was involved in the production of small grains, alfalfa, beans, sugar beets and lemons as well as working with the family cattle operation.  Grapes, first planted in 1973, have over the last 20 years become the largest single crop of Thornhill Ranches.

Bob, who maintains his home in Santa Barbara, is a member of the California Association of Winegrape Growers and the Central Coast Grape Growers Association.  His personal interests are in sailing, skiing and travel.
